Size & Fit
For people with average width feet, the Crest Resort will be true to size. As long as the wearer’s feet aren’t too wide or narrow, the pliant uppers and flexible soles ensure that the shoes will provide a good fit. Because the Crest Resort only comes in medium width, those with wider feet are advised to purchase these shoes a half or full size larger than their normal size.
Upper
The uppers of the Sperry Top-Sider Crest Resort are constructed of premium cotton canvas and novelty materials with a textile lining. The two-tone upper comes in three choices: Ivory and Red, Ivory and Gray and Ivory and Navy. While these colors are sure to match well with a wide variety of clothing, more color choices would still be a welcome addition to this shoe style. The upper has a fixed-lace design with rawhide laces and rustproof eyelets for convenient slip-on wear. However, for users who need to adjust their laces to achieve a proper fit, these shoes may not be a good choice.
Insole
The Crest Resort Two-Tone comes with removable PU footbeds for convenient cleaning. These cushioned footbeds make the shoes generally comfortable for walking. Nevertheless, people who need a high level of arch support may not find these shoes suitable for all-day wear.
Outsole
These shoes have patterned non-marking rubber outsoles that provide good traction in all kinds of weather. The soles are low profile, and feature a blue Sperry logo at the base of the heel. Vulcanized construction provides a secure bond between the upper and the outsole.
