Product details

The Sellwood is a slim, low-top skateboarding shoe from the Adidas vintage lines. The shoes come in basic colorways, black, utility black, navy canvas and suede upper featuring the iconic three stripes detailing on both sides of the shoe. The one with the white logo tag on tongue comes with white outsole. The classic “low top” shoe offers plenty of mobility and does not restrict users in any way. For users who loves the style of skate shoe, but not so much about ridding the board, this shoe is a perfect good go-to shoe for its brand look and quality plus the super sweet price.

Size and fit

The shoe tends to be 1/2 to one size bigger. Users think it fits better to order 1/2 size down. A user who usually wears a size 8 found that the shoes were too big and needed to be worn with thick socks.

Outsole / midsole

The Sellwood adopts lightweight and flexible vulcanized outsole. One of the advantages of vulcanized rubber is that it is more rigid than non-vulcanized rubber, so it is more stretch-resistant in the first place.

The vulcanized soles are widely used as skateboarding shoes for their gummy, pliable feel which gives great board feel. For many consumers who don’t play with skateboards, they love the feel too. The shoe’s EVA insole and EVA sockliner offer the very needed comfort and support as some may find out that skateboarding shoes generally feel flat to their feet. The soft textile lining is also part of the details that add up to this comfy and stylish shoe.

Upper

The Upper combines both durable suede and canvas. The shoe is breathable and durable and can hold well with wear and tear. The synthetic 3-Stripes detailing on the side give the low-profile shoe an unmistakable kick of chic.
