Product details

The Adidas NMR R2 women’s trainers boast an allover stripe pattern on an adidas Primeknit upper, with the iconic 3-Stripes blended with the texture underneath. The 3-Stripes design appears quite subtle, but clear enough to be identified instantly, along with the NMD R2’s unique silhouette.

An obvious change is to he signature two plugs. The plug in the midsole is removed for a neater and cleaner look while the other one remains and has been upgraded for better arch support.

Continuing the popular NMD R1, the NMR R2 is a piece of innovative footwear built to combine fashion and science. It is equipped with Adidas’s ambitious technology for performance, the Bootst™. A few wearers who bought NMD R1 and R2, love the feel of the boost cushioning, which apparently has changed the way they feel about the shoes. The revolutionary cushioning delivers the awesome energy return; the more energy you give, the more you get!

Another highlight of the shoe is the flexible primeknit upper. Users enjoy the light, thin and yet supportive and breathable layer of texture. The stripe pattern has raised texture and gives a nice feel when you touch it.

Overall, it is comfy like wearing a cool sock which has a nice sole under it. The best thing for an energetic lifestyle is this is a shoe that makes you want to get up and go!

Fit

The trainer is generally true to size. It offers plenty of toe room with the stretchy primeknit material without pressure points. Users who are concerned with width should feel confident in choosing their usual size. But some wearers, particular with narrow feet, did find the shoe a bit wider and larger and chose to go a size down. The sockliner is pretty comfy; some users find it feels different and it takes a few wearings to get used to it. To make the shoe suit themselves better, some users took out the insoles and find it is still comfy even without it. Some place their own insoles, like gel ones on top, and make it fit the best for themselves.

Upper

Adidas Primeknit upper wraps the foot in adaptive support and ultralight comfort; it has unique stripe pattern on upper. The leather heel patch and heel pull gives a visual contrast; with the tag it is handy and practical for quick slip on and off.

Midsole/ outsole

The trainer features Boost™’s energy-returning technology, which keeps every step charged with light and fast energy. The EVA midsole inserts offers lightweight cushioning.
